Xobni for BlackBerry

I was hired at Xobni to lead their mobile efforts. My first focus was building out a BlackBerry experience which dovetailed nicely into the other part of my work at Xobni, Xobni Enterprise and Xobni One (cloud product for your contacts). Below is a look at the design work I did for the BlackBerry client, it's actually just a sliver of the work we did on the BlackBerry platform. I was the product manager and designer for all of the mobile clients. I did both interaction design and the visual design (with some help from our resident rock star designer kobash).
This is a hybrid of a flow chart and a design spec for the out of box user experience. Because we had beta users that were upgrading and the install/upgrade procedure on the BlackBerry OS was less than ideal this flow is quite a bit more complicated than one might expect.
This is a flow diagram of the different ways users will learn about the Xobni BlackBerry client and how each experience and ways of marketing to them is different.
This is a good overview of the app experience. Users can access the Xobni address book from the native BlackBerry compose screen or from the ribbon (BB Desktop). Users can view full profiles or jump quickly to the preferred communication method.
This is an overview of the data in a contacts profile, the layout and hover treatments.
This was a concept for the Xobni App homepage that show both interesting facts about their contacts as well as provide a quick list of contacts the user is likely to want to communicate with that day.
This is the mobile landing page promoting the BlackBerry application that I designed.
This is a 5x7 glossy card handout for CES that I designed.
